Welcome to
InDesign Central
Adobe InDesign is the leading desktop publishing
powerhouse, offering many features but in a complex package. The newest
version of InDesign goes even further in its capabilities and complexity, with special attention to multimedia creation capabilities such as animation and interactivity.
That's why even experienced users benefit from expert advice and resources.
This site aims to provide that advice and expertise, as well as a convenient
location for both tried-and-true and new resources.
Now Available: InDesign CS5.5
Adobe announced InDesign CS5 and InCopy CS5 on April 12, 2010, as part of the new Creative Suite 5 product line, and shipped the software later in the spring. Galen's InDesign CS5 For Dummies and Adobe InDesign CS5 Bible books cover all the details; both books cover InDesign CS5, and the Bible also covers InCopy.
Note: The new InDesign CS5.5 released in early May 2011 has three changes that affect object anchors and export to ePub, HTML, and PDF. Otherwise, it works just like InDesign CS5.
